I finished college today.

I just sent in my last college assignment/final to my teacher. I officially have no homework ever again. Except maybe doing the readings for Sunday School and Relief Society. Weird.

Christmas again

December 10: Classic David pose.
December 9: Try to ignore my face in this one if you can.
December 8: I know I already wore that sweater. But not with the red shirt.

December 7: Evan joined the fun! That's a Santa tie.

December 6: Evan joined the fun again.

Updated list of Christmas movies I watched: A Christmas Carol, Christmas in Connecticut, Scrooge, A Christmas Story, The Grinch, Polar Express, The Bishop's Wife, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, Miracle on 34th Street, Muppet Christmas Carol, Frosty the Snowman. There may have been more, but I can't remember.

Christmas activities: We watched two houses with dancing Christmas lights and went to Festival of Trees. Tomorrow we are going to the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert in Salt Lake and we are going to look at the lights on temple square. I also went to a work Christmas party, but that doesn't count because it wasn't technically invited. I was just there to clean up the decorations. But I did get to eat the food!

A shadow of things yet to come

As I kid, I always remember my mom getting calls from BYU asking for money. Since both of my parents are BYU grads, it makes sense, and I think they probably gave some money over the years. However, I last night BYU went to the extreme: they called me! On my cell phone! At 8:50pm! I haven't even graduated yet and they are already asking me for money. Unbelievable.

A Cougar Creations Sucess Story

Many of you BYU students are familiar with Cougar Creations located in the bottom of the Wilkinson Center. They do a great job making copies and enlarging drawings and stuff. I have made a number of copies there over the past few years and have usually been very pleased with their work.

It seems though, that they are offering a new service: Dating! Yes, it is true, Cougar Creations is now a great place to meet people. As of yesterday, another couple has decided to tie the knot after meeting at Cougar Creations!

Congratulations to my brother Dave and his fiancee Amanda!

Almost done

After four and a half years, I am almost done with college. I will receive my diploma in a few weeks after I finish the last week of classes and take my finals.

I have been working at the BYU greenhouse this semester. I was planning on getting another job after I graduate, but I never really got around to it partly because I really like my current job and partly because I hate looking for new jobs. In addition, because Evan may take an internship somewhere else this summer, I may have to leave. If I were an employer, I would find it annoying if a full time employee left after four months. Because of this, I am keeping my job at the greenhouse, even though I am overqualified and underpaid.

Because I am graduating, I am getting kicked off the BYU health insurance. This means that Evan has to add me to his student health insurance (which will cost 350% more than we are paying now) or we have to find new health insurance. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to find good health insurance.
